Which Standards Apply to Cantilever Rack Systems?

OSHA-Compliant Installation: The 5 Core Requirements

Every cantilever rack column must be anchored to the concrete floor using anchor bolts that meet or exceed the manufacturer's base plate specification. Critical rule — no field repairs: A damaged cantilever rack component must NEVER be repaired by welding, bending back into shape, or reinforcing with angle iron. Damaged components must be replaced with manufacturer-certified replacement parts. Field repairs void the system's load capacity rating and create unquantified structural risk that cannot be covered by any published capacity rating.
